    Additional Mole Lake Trails Workdays

With the 13th Annual Northwoods Jeep Jamboree USA being hosted by WOHVA on October 2nd - 5th, 2008, WOHVA will be holding several additional trail workdays yet this year on the Mole Lake Indian Reservation.

The dates of those workdays are as follow:

    Friday & Saturday, August 29th & 30th

    Saturday & Sunday, September 13th & 14th

    Saturday & Sunday, September 27th & 28th

As always, volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated.  All vehicles must be driven by a WOHVA member (for insurance purposes).  Every vehicle must carry a WOHVA certified spill kit.  For the September workdays every volunteer must wear blaze orange (the Tribal hunting and gathering season begins September 1st).  One item (a cap) of blaze orange will satisfy this requirement.  Volunteers must sign a WOHVA Liability Waiver.  Every vehicle will be issued a WOHVA trail ID sticker which must be attached near the drivers door.

As always, membership forms, spill kits and waivers will be available at each workday.

The meeting place is the ball diamonds directly behind the Mole Lake Lodge & Casino.  The trail work crews depart the ball diamonds promptly at 9:00am, return for lunch at the Mole Lake Lodge & Casino at noon, depart for tribal lands again at 1:00pm and return back to the Mole Lake Lodge & Casino at 4:30pm (2:00pm on Sundays with no return for lunch at noon).

All are welcome to volunteer, but the aforementioned rules will be strictly enforced.

Please bring work gloves, appropriate footwear and small tree trimmers.  No saws or alcohol are allowed.

If attending a trail workday, please email WOHVA at molelakeaccess@wohva.com to confirm your attendance.

    Thanks for your support!

***  Please remember that these are trail build weekends.  Trail riding will be extremely limited!  ***

    Happy Trails,
