Over the past two weeks WOHVA has taken the following action(s) to expand OHV recreational opportunities here in the Badger State!
WOHVA representatives attended a Motorized Receation Area (MRA) Motorized Stakeholders Meeting sponsored by the DNR and held at Rib Mountain State Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.
WOHVA helped sponsor and paticipated (via our vendor display), the Lake Country Sports Show in Lakewood, Wisconsin. This show was offered by the Lakewood Area Chamber of Commerce (WOHVA is also a member).
WOHVA volunteers assisted the Crandon Area Chamber of Commerce (staffing ticket booths) for the Spring Brush Run Off-Road Races at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway in Crandon, Wisconsin.
WOHVA's Mole Lake Trails Project Team met to further develop and plan the Trails Project on the Mole Lake Reservation in Mole Lake, Wisconsin.
WOHVA ment with the Sokaogon Chippewa Tribal Forestry Department to discuss plans for upcoming trail development on Tribal Lands.
WOHVA Volunteers spent two days building trails on the Mole Lake Reservation for the Great Northern Trail Ride.
WOHVA submitted comments to the Superior National Forest of their newly released Travel Management Project EA.
WOHVA submitted comments to the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in response to their recently released Recreation Facility Analysis - 5-year Proposed Program of Work and Programmatic Results of Implementation.
