    WOHVA Update...6/5/08

What's WOHVA done to advance OHV recreation recently?

On May 14th, the WOHVA Board of Directors met in Fredonia, Wisconsin for their regular bi-monthly meeting.

On May 17th, WOHVA Volunteers cleaned their section of Highway 32 south of Lakewood, Wisconsin.  Later that day, WOHVA Volunteers did their annual spring workday/clean-up on the Pipeline 4X4 Recreation Area in the Southern Ranger District of the Nicolet National Forest.

On May 21st, the WOHVA 4WD Trail Sticker/OHM Registration Program Project Team met to work on that project.

On May 24th, 25th & 26th, WOHVA Volunteers assembled on the Mole Lake Reservation and spent both days developing OHM & 4WD trails on Tribal Lands.

On May 30th, WOHVA met with staff at the Shawnee National Forest and took a tour of the trails being developed in the Shawnee.

WOHVA finalized our plans for our upcoming "WOHVA Off-Highway Vehicle Enthusiasts Informational Workshop" on October 18th.  Please watch the WOHVA Forums for future updates!

What did you do to "Forward OHV Recreation" this week?

Remember, it's never an inopportune time to write a letter to your Federal or State Representatives and let them know what's important to you.

    Happy Trails,
