On April 21st every organized 4WD Club/Organization was contacted by WOHVA and their support was solicited for a 4WD Registration/Sticker Program. Each entity was encouraged to draft a short letter supporting such a program. The purpose of this contact was to gather commitments of support for such a program. WOHVA will attach these letters of support to documents when requesting support from the Wisconsin State Legislature, the Governor and various State/County Agencies. WOHVA also contacted several OHM Clubs who have partnered with WOHVA in the past.
The letter (which WOHVA send to each entity) is attached to this thread. The enclosures included a short sample comment letter (which is the third page of the .pdf) and a packet of WOHVA's "Sticker Program" post cards (for easy individual comments by club members).
If your club did not receive this letter, please download the attached file and forward to them. If they have not yet commented on this important project, please encourage them to do so at the next membership meeting you attend. It is essential that OHV enthusiasts stand together in support of a registration/sticker program. Such a program would lend added credibility to 4WD & OHM recreation as valid, responsible trail user groups. Additionally, such a program would also serve as a funding source for 4WD & OHM trail projects.
Regular updates will be posted on the WOHVA website as this project continues to develop.
Recently the following two 4WD Clubs submitted letters of endorsement for the concept of a 4WD/OHM Registration/Sticker Program to WOHVA. WOHVA is happy to add their voices to ours when soliciting County & State support for this program. By drafting letters, both of these clubs have taken proactive steps towards improving and expanding OHV recreational opportunities here in the Badger State. WOHVA thanks you and looks forward to working further with your groups as this project becomes a reality.

All letters went to the person(s) listed as the official club contact. In the case of WOHVA Members or WOHVA Supporting Organizations, if no contact is listed WOHVA always defaults to the name and address on the check.

WOHVA is pleased to add a letter of endorsement from MCJAG - Off-Road Club to our 4WD/OHM Registration/Sticker Program concept proposal project packets which we supply to interested legislatures and land managers in the Badger State.
