What's WOHVA done to advance OHV recreation this past week?
The WOHVA Mole Lake Trails Project Team again met to plan the upcoming trail workdays on the Mole Lake Indian Reservation. In fact, the WOHVA Mole Lake Trails project Team visited the Mole Lake Reservation and traversed the Tribal Lands with the Sokaogon/Chippewa Tribal Forester. WOHVA spent all day Saturday visiting areas which may be developed into trails.
On April 15th, Dave Phillips - Chair-Person of the Wisconsin Governor's State Trails Council, created the STC Sub-Committee on OHV Recreation. WOHVA submitted and endorsed two candidates for appointment to said Sub-Committee. The candidates which WOHVA recommended are Ken Linzmeyer and Dan Bergin. We wish them luck with their appointments!
WOHVA commented on the USFS Proposed Action regarding the Townsend to Forest/Oconto County Line Multiple Use Trail Connector. WOHVA Members can view those comments in the "Members Only" Forums.
What did you do to "Forward OHV Recreation" this week?
Remember, it's never an inopportune time to write a letter to your Federal or State Representatives and let them know what's important to you.
