Count me in for the Hill Climb Tim.
Sam
Thank You to all the volunteers that are willing to share their Fathers Day by volunteering time to WOHVA and the Kettle Moraine Sport Riders with thier annual motorcycle hill climb.
The response has been overwelming. Never before have I had so many people dedicating to supporting an all volunteer function as the past few events.
Fortunately, I have ample volunteers for this Sunday. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Unfortunately there is a chance (maybe 50%) that this event may need to be rescheduled due to the wet weather conditions. If the hill is too wet the owners of the hill will not allow the KMSR to run the event. Also the parking areas if too wet will cause damage and troubles for them as well. The forecast is for rain again Thursday night and Friday. There will be a group of us (KMSR) that will be working there Thursday evening at which time I will have more information. The rain date if needed is scheduled for July 20th. pencil that in on your calendar.
I will update this post on Friday when I have more info to report but please watch your email and this thread for the most current status.
Thank You agian!
Volunteers make it happen!

Cancelled due to the wet conditions. The parking area is still under water. The new date is July 6th. I'll try to make it down there for the 6th, but I'm not sure what my 4th is looking like this year.

I received information this morning that the KMSR's motorcycle hill climb event originally scheduled for this Sunday has been cancelled due to the wet conditions at the ski hill. The parking and racers pit areas are underwater with more rain in the forecast Thursday evening and throughout the weekend. The rescheduled date is Sunday July 6th.
The only one with incontinence around here is usually John.
hehe. A little typo and right away we think of John
A big Thank You to all who were able to help out Sunday at the Motorcycle Hill Climb. The KMSR really appreciate our assistance.

Attention WOHVA members and interested parties. Just a reminder that WOHVA has committed to helping out a WOHVA supporting motorcycle club by serving a meal at their annual Field and Forest Motorcycle Dual Sport ride. Looking for a few volunteers yet to help out. If interested post up or PM me. Once I have a list of volunteers I will send out an agenda.
As a side note. Last year we did their lunch (which was the best they ever had). This year we committed to lunch but was asked last week if we are interested in doing the dinner instead. Keep in mind that this is a Sunday and if we serve dinner I will need people from mid afternoon until 7ish. I believe dinner is at 5:00pm. If we do dinner I was thinking a pig roast or something similar?
IDEAS????
THOUGHTS???
VOLUNTEERS MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!
Thanks for your past support of these volunteer activities and I look forward to future events.
Tim Duenkel
P.S. the above pics are from their last event we helped with and they are very appreciative of our efforts.
I will be there as soon as football is over. I think a Pig Roast is easy and you would have plenty to eat. Maybe a corn with a pig. I have a buddy that has two huge roasters on a trailer and he does a pig and corn at the same time. I could check and see if he is available for hire.
As for me I will be there probably closer to dinner being over probably clean up.:(
Jim,
Keep in mind at this time I have not committed to dinner, only lunch. Wanted to see if people are able to make it for dinner service but I am leaning to doing the lunch this year with the possibilty of Dinner next year.
Please check on the availability of the roasters though and shoot me an email.
Thanks,
